Hi ,
I'm really happy to to create this first blog.
Absolutely don't know how this works, but hey, the best way to learn swimming is to jump in the pool, right?
So here I come!
My name is Pascal, I am building Frenchy Bunny, a cute yellow bunny and his friends, small preschool animation, on YouTube. I do as well Pascal's hedgehog.
Yes, it's me! The drawings, animation, and singing! I know I sing like a saucepan, I would even say that a saucepan makes better sounds :D
You might have seen the videos on Youtube.
Frenchy Bunny YouTube channel:
Videos mainly for children and happy parents. Nursery rhymes and popular songs.
I know it's not as best as I would like, but I move my ass. And things will improve.
I have never been on a blog before.
So if you pass by, don't hesitate to say hello! Thank you!
Yet, I love reading and books. (I'm not stupid;) It's just that I focused mainly on learning new techniques for animation and new softwares. Yet, believe me, in my family, books have always been around us. So I'll be happy to write!
Yesterday, I went to Shakespeare and company, a second-hand bookstore just in front of Notre Dame, across the river.
This is one of the oldest houses in the area, probably from the 15th or 16th century.
If you come to Paris, this is something to see, not even something to see, but something to live. Just being there, being part of that culture, being part of all these people coming from all around the world.
I stayed there, nearly 4 hours, surrounded by books, old books on wooden shelves. And this really made me think it was part of me as well. And that's why I had to create this blog today.
The amazing thing is that in that bookshop, you're surrounded by books, old beams on the ceiling, from the 16th century, there is a lecture room on the first floor, with an amazing view at the street and at Notre Dame. Everything is so authentic that it is really a place like nowhere else.
That's where I learnt English, well part of it. I've been travelling a lot and I spent probably all my time with the anglo-american community, without forgetting Australians and Kiwis!:)
I was coming at this bookstore, years ago, getting books, reading everything, so I feel really good up there. And yesterday, I had the chance to sit and relax upstairs. And this really made a change!:)
I have plenty of things to tell you, about my life and the amazing story behind Frenchy Bunny! Yet, it's pretty late here, in Paris... had a long day, so I'm gonna crash.
Talk to you soon!
Pascal
creator of Frenchy Bunny, and the crazy hedgehog who sings like a saucepan:)
