Row row row your boat - Nursery rhyme

Lyrics below
Row row row  your boat - Nursery rhyme

Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream.

Merrily, merrily,merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.

THE STORY BEHIND THE VIDEO
While I was bringing the last touch to the "10 little indians" video, I thought: why not making a canoe? This could give me the opportunity to enlarge the frame and make a large landscape (or waterscape:) like the one I really like!

I grew up with comics books. Mainly nice stories of adventures, and large landscapes. When I became a teenager, I really liked the stories of Hugo Pratt: Corto Maltese.  There are scenes at the beginning with large screen on the sea with the sun.
And then I discovered cinema with all these large frames. So, this is probably one of my first attempt to show simply the beauty of nature.

This has been a terrific experience. I learnt a lot. And even if it seemed easy at the beginning. I already had most of the images and animation. I just worked on the racoon boy and girl, on the canoe, plus a few things. But the whole thing was a mess to manage. So many pieces here and there.
It's funny because it seems so simple, but believe me, it's not. :)

(I know many things still sucks in the video (sound and music in that genre is all new for me), but I'm learning... and every day is a school day:) Please let me know what you think, OK?

Have a great day!
Take care,

Pascal

Old Mac Donald had a farm, with lyrics

Old Mac Donald had a farm,

Enjoy the children song, with Frenchy Bunny!
and please leave your comments. I'd love to hear from you!
It's just great to hear from people from far away, or from different environment.
Have you ever been at the farm?
How was it?

That would be great to hear from you, just to share and so other kids or parents can hear about it.
I just think it's a fantastic learning ground.

Or maybe, even better, you live in a farm?
I'm sure some people who will come here live in a farm, or in a countryside environment.  So I'm happy to see you here. I wish you a great day!

Old Mac Donald had a farm - My childhood at the farm

Old Mac Donald had a farm

Hello mes amis,
Below the video,  I will tell you some memories about my childhood vacations in a farm.

I loved doing this nursery rhyme with animals!  I enjoyed the fields and the farm as I remember an important time of my youth, where everything was joy and innocence, and nice!

Here is my  new version of "Old Mac Donald". The first one was very basic, no music and very little animation. So I hope this one is slightly better!
I had fun with the colors, and this Old Mac Donald seems to like drinking a bit too much, but he's a good fellow!

MY CHILDHOOD at THE FARM
When I was a kid, I remember the first time I arrived in a farm.  For the vacations, I went to spend some time in the countryside, where my uncle and my aunt had just got a house with a barn. We had to walk nearly one hour through woods and fields on a small tiny road,  from the train station.

Next to the house, there were 2 farms. There was a horse when I arrived, and he seemed so big. The neighbors were traveling with a cart and a donkey. It was a privilege for me to approach such a fantastic creature. It was like seeing an elephant for the first time! People were very nice. I realize now that I learnt so much with them. It's everything, animals, nature, culture, work, team work, basic rules and just learning from nice people. Well, you just learn about life.

I was going to collect eggs, and getting fresh milk across the road in the morning. I played with the pigs, and I was joining the farm lady to bring the cows to the fields.
It's really great to learn and participate in adults activities. Going to get some food, the water, getting some wood.

One very good time was my long rides by bike through the countryside to go to the first little town where there was a grocery store and a bakery.  I walked a lot as well throughout the fields with the dog of the farm.
There was no water in the house, so we had to get water from a dwell, down the road. It was dangerous.

No electricity, so we had candles in the evening.  And when it was getting cold, I remember the fire in the large fireplace, lots of smoke, and you could hear the fire cracking while you were getting to sleep.  It was so great! And the cats from the farms around were getting in the house and they were sleeping on the bed.

Hope you like the video. Please let me know what you think, OK?
And tell me as well if you have some experience in a farm?
I'd love to hear from you!:)
